In August this year the CLC moved to the BFI Southbank for a year's residency while the Clapham Rectory Centre site is being refurbished. The CLC will be working alongside the BFI's education team to build on previous work with film-making, animation and digital media. We will also be exploring new accreditation for students and school staff around digital media, allowing schools to profit from innovative work for example in podcasting, as well as moving and still image work.
This partnership will begin with Black History Month, when film-makers will work with 5 primary schools in Lambeth.

BBC School News Day took place on March 22. The CLC worked with the BBC and three schools to support the delivery of a series of lessons on journalism which culminated in reports written by Year 8 pupils and broadcast on the web. Any schools wishing to make use of the journalism resources and lessons learned, please contact Abigail Norton at the CLC on abigailnorton@lambethclc.org.uk.
