Family Learning describes a whole range of activities and programmes where parents, grandparents, children and carers are involved in learning together. Family Learning is recognised as a vital element to help raise the achievement of pupils. These pages explain both the benefits of running a Family Learning programme and how your school can get involved. CLC programmes help to engage families in their children's learning, and give adults opportunities to learn skills, gain confidence and progress to other training and employment.

Family Learning will be running Laptop Library courses in five schools this term. We will also be running a series of photography courses in Children's Centre for Dad's and male carers.
