CPD
We are able to give support and offer training to school staff with responsibility for Family Learning and parental engagement. We have developed an informal mentoring programme that has allowed many people to attend training and gain experience as volunteers with progression for some to employment as tutors.
Family Learning staff in schools are also welcome to particpate in all CPD offered by Lambeth CLC in Technology and Arts. Please look at the following links for information

The CLC has developed strong links with LLU+ at Southbank University's Family Learning Division. Parents, potential and existing Family Learning tutors can access a range of courses within the field. Their wide range of Family Learning courses include
- Parents as Teachers of Parents (Peachers) (Level 3)
- Skills for Life Awareness Training for those Working with Families (Level 2)

Mentoring
The CLC offers mentoring to staff interested in becoming Family Learning Tutors. As part of the course funding, staff can be mentored through a CLC programme where they shadow an existing tutor and receive training and support with the ultimate aim of gaining skills to run courses in their own school.
