As part of the BBC school report project all Year 7 pupils at Lilian Baylis Technology School, based in Vauxhall, South London, participated in the production of this news broadcast.
From performing pieces to camera, interviewing guests, camera work, sound recording, and researching news stories, Year 7 got involved with all aspects of the production.
Over the 5 week project pupils addressed diverse issues, including crime, the 2012 London Olympics, bullying, technology, and even managed to squeeze in an interview with Hollywood superstar Colin Salmon.
This broadcast is only the tip of the iceberg for all the year 7 work. More interviews and more recordings are on their way. So watch this space.
