Lambeth CLC is a Young People’s Arts Award registered centre. This means it's able to recognise and accredit young people’s multimedia skills. The award, developed by the Arts Council in partnership with Trinity Guildhall, can be taken at Bronze, Silver or Gold level - accredited at Levels 1, 2 and 3 on the National Qualifications Framework.

The Centre has piloted the award with a refugee group from the Open Learning Centre who worked on a digital art project using Photoshop and istop animation techniques. The group displayed their work in a public installation last December.

Young people on two new projects will be working to gain this award in the coming academic year.

    Btech

The CLC is working with La Retraite on a project for Module 3 in 2D drawing. We will be working with a commercial company who engrave designs on ipods, phones and laptop cases, and pupils will design images to size for a range of products.
